Stevenage Regeneration Ltd, a joint venture between ING Real Estate Development and Stanhope plc, was selected by Stevenage Borough Council and national regeneration agency English Partnerships as development partners for the redevelopment and regeneration of Stevenage town centre.

A public exhibition about our proposals was held in the former 'Edward the Confessor' pub in Stevenage's Town Square in March 2007. The exhibition was a key part of our public consultation process, following on from extensive meetings with key local and national stakeholders as well as the Council. Over the past few months, we have analysed the comments and suggestions from those meetings and the exhibition and have submitted a planning application that reflects this information in our updated proposals.

As a team, both ING Real Estate Development and Stanhope have a strong track record in delivering complex mixed-use developments. In the past few years, we have been responsible for significant regeneration schemes in Bracknell, Hull, Tyneside, Enfield, Manchester and Croydon.
